Capital Area Food Bank
Direct Distribution
Every month, the Capital Area Food Bank hosts several direct distributions out in the community at community centers and schools within DC, Maryland and Virginia. Volunteers will assist in the distribution of fresh produce and non-perishable food to clients. Some locations include the Langley Park Distribution Center, Arlington Direct Distribution Center, Ambassador Baptist Church, and several schools.

Catholic Charities
Catholic Charities provides Food Assistance at a variety of locations. https://www.catholiccharitiesdc.org/food-2/ Share Food Network Monthly value packages cost just $22 and include $40-$45 worth of basic and healthy groceries, and always four to six pounds of frozen proteins and eight to 12 pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables, sometimes with seasonal grocery or dessert items. Manna Food
"Manna stands as the premier food bank of Montgomery County, providing food to 32,000 individuals each year and helping distribute rescued food to soup kitchens, food pantries and emergency shelters county-wide. Nearly every social service organization in Montgomery County relies on Manna to provide food to their clients, and we are honored to play our part in the strong social safety net. Also operating as a food pantry, Manna directly reaches into the community through a network of distribution sites in every quadrant of the county."
Main location is in Gaithersburg, however they have multiple satellite sites. See attached document for locations. Provides 3-4 days worth of food. Program is income based. Clients may receive food once every 30 days. A new referral is needed for each pick up. Can request vegetarian boxes, diabetic boxes , and baby food/formula when available.

Appointments can be scheduled Monday through Friday from 10am to 4pm.
Distribution is 11am to 3:30pm Monday through Thursday and 11am to 3pm on Friday.
Nourish Now’s services are free to the public. Referrals from social service agencies are preferred, but not required. All client appointments and food pickups are handled Monday through Friday. All appointments must be scheduled with a Nourish Now employee over the phone or in person. Plan and schedule your pick-up 3-7 business days ahead to request your choice of appointment. If taking public transportation, please bring reusable grocery bags or a cart. No walk-in or same-day appointments are available at this time. Please bring a Photo ID.
